WHILE we wait to hear whether the Let's Rock Belfast 1980s pop festival is going ahead as planned at Boucher Playing Fields this August, the Let's Rock folks have put together a virtual festival bill to enjoy from the comfort of your living room tomorrow night. Those confirmed to be appearing via livestream thus far are Midge Ure, ABC, Howard Jones, Jason Donovan, Tony Hadley, Hue & Cry, Chesney Hawkes, Five Star, Rozalla, Then Jerico, Musical Youth, Sonia and The Retrobates. THROUGHOUT lockdown, Belfast music hub The Duncairn have been hosting a weekly live streamed series of performances from musicians, poets and artists performing on Facebook and YouTube. Donations are encouraged with all funds going directly to the performers.
