ULSTER Bank in Northern Ireland is offering £150 to new and existing customers switching their main bank account between now and November 29.
Its 'Select' account has no monthly fee and enables customers to withdraw money from a cash machine without their bank card using a passcode sent to their mobile phone.
Terry Robb, head of personal banking at Ulster Bank NI, said: “We are seeing more and more consumers taking advantage of our account benefits and our switcher offer gives consumers the opportunity to change accounts simply and easily using the Switcher Service.
“An account can be opened online at ulsterbank.co.uk or in any Ulster Bank Northern Ireland branch.”
Switching bank accounts can be done through the Current Account Switch (CASS) Service. Payments such as direct debits and standing orders are automatically transferred to the newly opened account within seven days.
Switchers are required to use CASS, close their existing account and transfer their main current account to Ulster Bank NI. They will then receive £150 by February 7.
