The club football season finally comes to an end as Ballinderry take on Crossmolina Deel Rovers of Mayo at Croke Park

Another club season closes at Croke Park with Ballinderry hoping to be the only Ulster club to emerge from Dublin victorious this year.

The Shamrocks take on Crossmolina Deel Rovers in the delayed All-Ireland Club Intermediate Football Championship final after a death in the Crossmolina community led to the postponement of the arranged final.

The Oak Leaf champions overcame Kerry football giants Austin Stacks in their All-Ireland semi-final to book their place at Croke Park this weekend, coming back from three points down after 20 minutes to finish strong winning 11 points to even in the end.

Crossmolina defeated Caragh of Kildare in their semi-final in Pearse Park in Longford despite harsh weather conditions to seal their spot in the final at GAA HQ and a shot at another All-Ireland title.

Ballinderry look to emulate the 2002 team that won the All-Ireland Senior Football title, with Crosmolina reaching finals either side of them, winning in 2001 and losing in 2003.
