Aer Lingus announces direct flights from Dublin to Nashville - for the first time

The airline will operate four flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday

Aer Lingus has announced Ireland’s first direct flight from Dublin to Nashville next year.

The new route will start in April 2025 and operate four weekly flights on Aer Lingus’ new state-of-the-art Airbus A321XLR aircraft.

Susanne Carberry, Aer Lingus’ Chief Customer Officer, commented: “We are thrilled to add Nashville to our expanding North American network, offering Irish customers direct access into one of the most exciting and culturally rich cities in the United States.

“The connection between Irish and American country music runs deep and Nashville’s iconic status as the capital of country music makes it a dream destination for music lovers. Its fast-growing fashion, finance, healthcare and automotive industries also offer plenty of opportunities for business travellers.”

Nashville is one of the fastest-growing cities in the US, renowned as “Music City” for its deep-rooted musical heritage.

The new direct connections will allow for stronger economic ties and business travel between Ireland, Nashville and the wider state of Tennessee where there are a number of economic synergies.

Doug Kreulen, President and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) said: “A new chapter in travel history begins today as Music City and the Emerald Isle are linked by a nonstop flight through our exciting new partnership with Aer Lingus.

This nonstop flight will offer travellers an unforgettable opportunity to experience the best of both worlds, from exploring Ireland’s stunning landscapes and ancient ruins to immersing themselves in Nashville’s vibrant Broadway experience. It’s the perfect combination for those seeking adventure, culture, and a truly unforgettable journey.”

Passengers can also avail of Dublin Airport’s US Pre-Clearance facility. The service allows customers to pre-clear all US immigration and customs formalities, meaning you’re effectively on US soil once you’re cleared.



All US bound customers will also clear US customs & immigration facility at Dublin airport.

The journey time from Dublin to Nashville is 9hrs 05 and 8hrs 10 return from Nashville to Dublin, with the route operating almost year-round, with a brief six-week suspension in January and February.

Tickets for Aer Lingus’ Dublin to Nashville flights go on sale today and flights start from €499 return including taxes and charges.
