Police are treating a fire that destroyed a car and damaged a second vehicle in Co Tyrone as a deliberate arson attack.
A report was made of both vehicles being on fire in the Oakfield Drive area of the village of Moy at around 4.45am on Tuesday.
Firefighters arrived at the scene alongside police and extinguished the blazes.
A PSNI spokesperson said it is believed that the fire was started deliberately in one of the cars - a black Toyota Rav 4, which was completely destroyed - before spreading to a grey coloured Peugeot 307 which was parked close by.
“This is being treated as arson and I am appealing to anyone who noticed anyone suspicious in the area or to anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries to contact police on 101 quoting reference 204 24/12/24,” the spokesperson said.
