Flights scheduled for departure from Belfast City Airport have been cancelled this morning amid a yellow weather warning for heavy fog.
The airport was forced to cancel most of its flights on Wednesday evening as the Met Office warned visibilities in some places would fall below 100m.
Further flights scheduled between 6.30am and 8am today were axed with more passengers facing delays later this morning.
A spokesperson for the airport said: “Due to adverse weather conditions across Northern Ireland, there may be some disruption to flights due to arrive and depart.”
The yellow fog warning which came into force on Wednesday afternoon, ended at 8am.
Drivers have also been warned of difficult driving conditions.
It is understood that flights from Belfast International Airport are operating as normal.
