A 19-year-old man has been charged to appear before court over an incident in Newtownards in which three PSNI officers sustained minor injuries.
The man was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday following a proactive search in the Victoria Avenue area of the town.
He has been charged with assault on police, disorderly behaviour, possession of a Class B controlled drug, and possession of a Class C controlled drug, and is due to appear before Newtownards Magistrates Court on February 12.
All charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
