Teenage girl assaulted in west Belfast after being approached by man while out walking

A teenage girl was assaulted after being approached by a man while out walking in west Belfast on Wednesday evening.

It was reported a man approached two teenage girls as they walked along the Upper Suffolk Road at around 8pm.

The PSNI says the man pulled at one of the teenage girls’ clothing and was then pushed her to the ground during the assault.

It was reported that the suspect then made off on foot in the direction of Lenadoon.

He is described as being in his twenties or thirties and was dressed all in black, with the PSNI appealing for witnesses to come forward.
