Walker is 12-0 as a pro, and this would be a breakout win for him.

Cacace and Wood both come into this title fight off the back of victories against Josh Warrington, with Cacace being the more rested fighter, if only by a month.

In the press conference leading up to tonight, ‘Anto’ said: “I’m in Nottingham to beat Leigh Wood and beat him easy but I’m just very aware of what can happen.

“I can see he’s got a dog in him. He knows what the craic is. I know he wants this fight just as much as me so it’s going to be a very, very tough fight.”
